KTR-12 Inverted Bucket Steam Traps have robust design. Never affected by water hammer. Condensate drains as soon as when it occurs. As steam enters the stemtrap and is captured inside the bucket, it causes the bucket to move upward thereby closes the orifice. When the condensate cools the steam, bucket moves downward. This movement causes the valve to open thereby allowing the condensate to drain. There is a filter inside the steam trap thus not affected pollution in the line
